4th of July Weekend

Well since 4th of July weekend it's been a little crazy around here.

We had a friend from down South come stay and help out, which was not only a blessing but tons of fun. After she left, she and I got some kind of food poisoning or the flu, but I was down for four days and had to back track again with the twins. Jason and I have been through the ringer since the twins have been born; sickness, ants, worms in the kitchen... We are definitely longing to have family in the area to help out...

4th of July Weekend Jerry & Dee came to visit

Aren't they so cute and festive.
Dylan Cole what a cutie!
The five of us trying to take a picture. It was a hot afternoon and the babies were fussy and we were all a little tired, but we managed to get in a few photos.
Jason took this one...

The twins were suppose to be in their beds and didn't exactly make it there.

Friends from Indiana

Friends from Bakersfield, but now live in Indiana
visited on Sunday.
It was great to see them and have them meet the twins
Dylan and their son played so well we wished we lived closer.
It was a great visit.

Taryn Grace
As girly as a girl can get (thus far)
She's a total opposite of Nolan in every way
She cares more about sleeping than eating and gets
rather upset when you disturb her beauty rest
Nolan Luke
What a sweet boy he is...
This photo really captures Nolan.
Nolan's main priority is eating, if his tummy is full he is content for a long time
He is cuddly, sweet and ten pounds already

Since we are going through Proverbs as a family my latest favorite is and this is the NIV Adventure Bible.

"My son, hold on to good sense and the understanding of what is right. Don't let them out of your sight. They will be life for you. They will be like a gracious necklace around your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety. You will not trip and fall, When you lie down you won't be afraid When you lie down you will sleep soundly."

Proverbs 3: 21-24
