Organizing Shoulder Bag

Check out this Organizing Shoulder Bag.
So first I have to admit before i became a consultant for "Thirty-One" i was a one purse gal.
Until.
We had a daughter who just adores purses.
I started checking out purses more and more.
And then.
I discovered "thirty-one".
So recently i hosted a thirty-one party.
I was able to benefit from the hostess perks.
I was able to earn the below "hard case wallet" for FREE and the purse for half off (very easily i might add).
Hostess's are rewarded big time with thirty-one.
If your out of my area and would like to host a party you can do a online party as well, just email me (they are pretty successful as well).
Anyway, onto this terrific little purse.
I just ADORE it.
The straps are angled just so on the back so they contour to your body.
It's great for a mom on the go.

Inside the purse it has a zip pocket and a pocket for a cell phone or iphone.
The back also has a pocket.
Here's a picture of the purse and hard case wallet.
The wallet is large and has plenty of room for everything. In addition it's kept very neat by a snap type closure on the front.
The fabric is so soft and kinda puffy and the inside is so cute with the black/white pin stripes.
I feel so pampered.
Really enjoying it.
How's your purse?
What a difference a purse can make throughout the day!

Alcatraz

Alcatraz
The week before Labor day weekend Jason decided he wanted to get tickets for Alcatraz in SF.  Since i have never gone i was really excited about it.
I definitely recommend purchasing them ahead of time;  they get booked up most of the time (btw: two and under are free).
So we headed out and it was just beautiful weather, mid 70's and just gorgeous.
There is so much to learn about Alcatraz so we did the audio tour and Dylan our oldest just loved it.  Perfect age; definitely recommend it.

They still have the original "warning" signs up along the outside.
Did i mention how beautiful it was?
They had red fire hydrants all over the island and i just thought they were so cool.
This is the warden's house.  Pretty large and interesting the staff that lived on the island "rarely locked their doors", isn't that crazy.
Cool washer outside the warden's home.  What a gorgeous view he had out the windows of his home, can you imagine?
Great place to visit.  September is a great month to go.

A Family must have tote

Since school and all the activities have begun I've found this
"large utility tote" from (of course) Thirty-One gifts extremely useful...

I put it in the back of the car and fill it will all the sports gear for the week, misc must haves in the car with three kids and I even filled it all up with my groceries and took bags of groceries into the house in one swoop; it's also great for day trips...
It is sturdy, durable (great quality, no kidding) and just perfect for a family.
It's also a great gift for a family member and you can personalize, which is o'so fun.

Is your car organized?
(if you love the products and would like to order or book a party email me; thirty-one gifts takes great care of the their hostess's.  Their gifts and prices are perfect for Christmas!)

Highlights from our trip

A couple highlights from our trip to Sunny San Diego
We were gone for nine days.  T
The longest trip we have taken with all three kids
(it takes 8hrs from here so we had to split it up a little).
This year we stayed at Homewood suites in Carlsbad a great place for families of more than one child; they provide a great breakfast and dinner every Monday - Thursday, which was a huge plus for MOM (HUGE)!!!  Anyway, we usually house sit for a friend, but this little hotel owned by Hilton was great.  It's around the corner from Legoland, which was a bonus.
All in all i highly recommend it.
(funny note: i came out of our hotel room one morning and apologized for keeping our neighbors up and she said don't even worry about it we have quadruplet four year olds.  There were multiple families with twins, triplets etc...it was so funny.)
Can you guess where this?

Another highlight was the new aquarium at legoland it's perfect for 2-up. Really cute.
The twins managed to sneak a couple two hour naps in at the beach, hilarious!
All in all it was a great trip this year.
We got to visit numerous friends and family along the way.

Mad Lab Birthday Party

O' my goodness i just love it when things come together, especially for a party.
We started out brainstorming for Dylan's 8th birthday.
It began as a Volcano party, but mommy couldn't come up with a ton of ideas (bummer)...
So.
We went to a "Mad Lab" party
Experiments, lab coats, slime...
Keep an eye out for the upcoming post in a couple weeks.
I wasn't sure if i could get it together, but we are getting there.
It's going to be all boys and a lot of them...
FUN!
Hope your having a great Friday!

Since we are going through Proverbs as a family my latest favorite is and this is the NIV Adventure Bible.

"My son, hold on to good sense and the understanding of what is right. Don't let them out of your sight. They will be life for you. They will be like a gracious necklace around your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety. You will not trip and fall, When you lie down you won't be afraid When you lie down you will sleep soundly."
